The Portrait Experience
I. Inquire & Connect
The process begins with an inquiry, followed by a virtual brochure that outlines the portrait experience in detail. A brief questionnaire is included to help me understand your vision and priorities, allowing planning to feel thoughtful and personalized from the start. Complimentary consultation calls are available if a conversation feels helpful.
II. Plan with Intention
Once booked, we’ll move into guided planning. This may include discussing location options, wardrobe guidance, and the overall feel you’d like your portraits to reflect. Planning is collaborative and supportive. I’ll offer direction while remaining responsive to what feels most natural and comfortable for you.
III. Create the Work
On the day of your session, we’ll work together in a calm, unhurried way. Sessions balance gentle direction with space for organic moments, allowing you to move, interact, and simply be. The focus is on creating portraits that feel authentic, expressive, and reflective of who you are, rather than overly posed or performative.
IV. Deliver & Preserve
Final images are delivered through a private online gallery, where you’ll be able to view, download, and share your portraits. Professional print options and heirloom pieces are available for those who wish to preserve their images in a tangible, lasting way. The result is a collection of photographs created to be enjoyed now and cherished for years to come.

À la carte portrait sessions begin at $598. All-inclusive portrait collections begin at $899. Each experience includes guided planning, a calm and intentional session flow, and delivery through a private online gallery.

What types of portrait sessions do you offer?
I photograph a wide range of portrait sessions, including individuals, couples, families, maternity, newborn, milestone, engagement, and lifestyle sessions. Each session is approached with the same level of care and intention, regardless of category.
How far in advance should I book?
Availability varies by season, so I recommend inquiring as early as possible, especially for milestone moments or popular times of year. That said, I do occasionally have short-notice openings, so it’s always worth reaching out.
How long does a portrait session typically last?
Session length depends on the collection you choose. À la carte sessions are typically shorter and more focused, while all-inclusive collections allow additional time for outfit changes and variety.
Do you have set locations, or can we choose our own?
I offer a curated list of locations I’m familiar with, selected for light, accessibility, and seasonal considerations. I’m also happy to photograph sessions in other locations if you have something specific in mind.
Do you travel for portrait sessions?
Yes. Travel sessions are available and can be discussed during the planning process. Additional travel fees may apply depending on distance and logistics.
What does retouching look like?
My approach to retouching is rooted in honoring what already makes you you. I focus on minimizing temporary distractions like blemishes or bruises, rather than changing your natural features. If there’s anything you’re feeling unsure about, let me know and I’ll take extra care with posing and perspective.
When will I receive my photos?
You’ll receive a small preview within days of your session, followed by a complete online gallery delivered within the timeframe outlined in your agreement. Galleries are contractually delivered within six weeks, but are often completed within two to three weeks.
Do you offer prints or albums?
Yes. In addition to digital images, I offer a curated selection of professional prints and keepsakes, including albums, magazines, and canvas artwork. All products are produced through a professional lab to ensure your images are preserved with care and intention.
